Symposium Proposals has been accepted for the NEURO 2024!

We are pleased to announce that our symposium proposal has been accepted for NEURO 2024, which will be held at the Fukuoka Convention Center (Marine Messe) in July 2024.

NEURO 2024 is a joint meeting of the Annual Meeting of the Japan Neuroscience Society (JNS), the Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Neurochemistry (JSN), the Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Biological Psychiatry (JSBP), and the Federation of Asian-Oceanian Neuroscience Societies (FAONS) Congress, and is one of the larger international congresses to be held in Japan.

Dr. Naofumi Uesaka of Tokyo Medical and Dental University is the representative organizer of the symposium, and Mizuno will serve as a co-organizer.

The symposium will invite researchers from Japan and abroad to discuss the approach to elucidate the construction mechanism of functional brain neural circuits from mathematical and logical viewpoints, which is ongoing in the group research on “Design-Build of Brain by Multidimensional Spontaneous Activity” (Grant-in-Aid for Transformative Research Areas (B)).

This is the second opportunity that the symposium proposal has been accepted, following the symposium with Dr. Nobuhiko Yamamoto of Osaka University at the 2021 Annual Meeting of the Japan Neuroscience Society and CJK International Conference.  Dr. Mizuno was the representative organizer at that time.

Dr. Mizuno would like to thank everyone for the wonderful opportunity again!

We will make every effort to contribute to the development of neuroscience research in Japan.
